You look in the mirror
You don't feel love.
Critical thoughts.
You're still not enough.
Turning away.
Duties await.
The day will be gone.
You work hard. You know you deserve delight. Self-development. Self-help. Healing. Experts. Paths.
You try. Self-care. Spiritual practice. Tips, tools, and strategies.
But when you look again, the mirror still doesn't love.
Who is that person there? What do you see?
It's safe to be honest and hear the programmed judgments.
It's safe to be honest and feel whatever is present.
Know that it has a heart.
Look again with the eyes of your heart...
May the eyes of your heart be enlightened that you may know what is the hope of Life's calling and what are the treasures of the darkness even when there seems to be so little light.
Look at the sky at a starry night. Such vast darkness. Such twinkling sparks of tiny little lights.
What does your body feel under a starry sky?
Reverence? Awe? Wonder? Respect? Delight?
Don't be afraid of the dark! That sense of fear is healthy, and wholesome. It's respect and love.
It's safe to feel who you really are.
You are both majestic potential and a speck of dust.
You are one of a kind. A beautiful and intricate 'mess' of earth, air, fire, water, space... and LOVE. Elemental superstar!
This is what I see with the eyes of Heart.
