Do you ever feel like you're living life on autopilot,

going through the motions without really being present? Reconnecting with your senses can help you feel more alive and connected to the world around you, while also promoting a sense of inner peace and calm.

Here are five easy and pleasant ways to incorporate reconnecting with your senses into your daily life. And you don't need to set aside any extra time!

  1. Notice the Colors of Nature: While you're walking to your car or taking public transport, take a moment to appreciate the different shades of green and other colors in nature.
  2. Savor Your Morning Beverage: Take the time to really taste and enjoy your tea or coffee in the morning. Let the flavors and aromas fill your senses.
  3. Feel the Sensations: Whenever you wash your hands or take a shower, feel the sensation of the water and soap on your skin. Take a moment to appreciate the silky texture and pleasant smells.
  4. Sense the Ground: Whenever you remember, take a moment to feel the ground beneath your feet. Notice the sensation of your weight being supported by the earth.
  5. Listen to the Sounds: When you're taking a shower or washing dishes, listen to the sounds of the water. Pay attention to the different tones and rhythms.

By incorporating these simple tips into your daily routine, you'll soon find that being rooted and grounded becomes a way of life. 

Anxiety will be much less scary, and will only visit occasionally.
You wii feel more present and aware of the world around you.
Over time, this can help reduce anxiety and promote a greater sense of calm.
